When we first began learning about bonds I could recall most of the information. I rememberd how to name ionic and covalent bonds, but i did forget what to do with the isotopes. In class one of my classmates asked me if I could teach him how to do it. Instead of immediately going over to help him, I asked him to give me a minute, and went through the packet again that taught about bonds. When I went through it I realized their were a couple of other rules that I had forgotten such as when naming the bonds you have to write all letters in lowercase.

Managing impulstivity helped me to avoid making mistakes when I was teaching my friend, which led me to pick up better habits when solving bonding problems. It is always important to review information, because there is usually something that is missed the first time around. And once we pick up the information we can organize it in a coherant manner, as in order to strategize on how to solve the next problem.
